Davide Vendramin studied with Sergio Scappini and Teodoro Anzellotti, und graduated from the Conservatorio in Pesaro and in the Hochschule der Künste in Berne (Switzerland).
He performed during important festivals and with musical institutions, such as Stadttheater in Berne, Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik in Darmstadt, Ferrara Musica, Festival of Lucerne, Auditorium in Milan, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich, Festival Pontino, National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, MiTo/Settembre Musica in Turin, Biennale Musica in Venice, Wettinger Kammerkonzerte.
As a soloist he played the concert for accordion and orchestra “Storie di altre storie” of Salvatore Sciarrino with the “G. Verdi” Symphonic Orchestra in Milan, the first time it had ever been performed in Italy, then he was invited by the Composer to perform the same piece with the accompaniment of the Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome.
Furthermore he collaborated with the Symphonic Orchestra “I Pomeriggi Musicali” in Milan, the Ensemble of the Parma Philharmonic Orchestra “Arturo Toscanini”, the Orchestra of the “Teatro Comunale” in Bologna, the Berner Symphonie Orchestre, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and with renowned Conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Chailly, Daniele Gatti, Ingo Metzmacher, Luca Pfaff.
His interest for different forms of artistic expressions let him work in productions of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan and of the Tanz Theater München.
He played for Radio3 RAI and for Terza Rete Televisiva, for Radio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, for Télévision Suisse Romande in Geneva and for Bayrischer Rundfunk in Munich.
Davide Vendramin teaches accordion in the Conservatorio in Vicenza.
